Will you help Keep US Close? - Disability Charity - Scope UK

Over half a million UK families have a disabled child. More than six in ten parents with disabled children say they can't get the support services they need locally, like appropriate schools, respite care and childcare. This means that many families miss out on important family time, like celebrating birthdays or just the chance to play together.

We can fix this. The Government is putting a new Children and Families Bill through Parliament that will say what happens in England. The Welsh Government have announced that they will produce a Bill to reform special educational needs that will affect disabled children and families in Wales. Now is our chance to get a guarantee of good local services for disabled children that will keep families together.

Please take action now and email your MP (or AM in Wales) and ask them to make sure disabled children and their families get the support they need close to home.

Go to www.scope.org.uk/keepusclose to email your MP or AM today.
If you would like to share your story to support the campaign please contact Jamie Robertson: email jamie.robertson@scope.org.uk or call 020 7619 7370.
