If you're a rookie to internet marketing, more than likely you will spend alot of time trying out different methods and trying to find the right one for yourself and for your business.

But more than likely, you will find yourself spending hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars on courses, software, advertising . . . and even time wasted messing around with ineffective strategies. But you should fret not, because most successful internet marketers have went through the same thing, and have finally discovered the "formula" for themselves to make money in their business.

1) You can get traffic from multiple different sources

There are a ton of ways to get traffic to your website. But you should know that only about 5 of them will yield you the most results. Yet with that said, you still shouldn't abandon the other means of getting traffic, because you never know where an obscure viewer will come by and purchase your product.

This is something that has happened to me time and time again. So I employ a ton of marketing strategies in my business. I spread them out over the course of a week, and just market my business like there's no tomorrow. You should do the same thing too with your internet business.

Getting traffic to your website isn't rocket science. It's super easy to do, and super easy to understand and put to use in your business. If you can find a way to make money with your website traffic, then you can seriously write your own ticket. Here's another great benefit of online marketing:

2) You can put things on autopilot

I like automation. It allows me to work less and enjoy more free time for myself. Find new and creative ways to automate your business is something that you will want to seriously consider if you want to make the most money as possible in your internet business.

Putting things on autopilot will allow you to actually enjoy your business -- instead of being a slave to it. This is the key to running a thriving business all while doing the things that you want to do.

Good luck with using these tips to make your internet business more rewarding now.

Neighbor defends Trayvon Martin's shooter: 'No Rambo'

Fellow neighborhood watch volunteer Frank Taaffe comes to the defense of George Zimmerman, who shot and killed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin while patrolling his gated Florida community. WTVJ-TV's Jeff Burnside reports.

By msnbc.com staff and NBC News

SANFORD, Fla. - A neighbor of George Zimmerman and fellow neighborhood watch captain in their Florida gated community came to his defense Tuesday, saying Zimmerman shot Miami teenager Trayvon Martin after numerous burglaries at The Retreat at Twin Lakes.

Frank Taaffe pointed out the circumstances that he believes led his 28-year-old neighbor to react the way he did on the night of Feb. 26: Eight burglaries within 15 months, most done by young black males, he said.

"The stage was already set. It was a perfect storm,? Taaffe said.

NBCMiami.com could not immediately confirm the burglary statistic Taaffe cited in a phone call to Sanford Police Tuesday night.

Martin, 17, picked up Skittles and iced tea from a 7-Eleven that Sunday, then headed back toward his father?s girlfriend's home on a rainy, drizzly night. Martin put on his hoodie and ran to take cover. Zimmerman spotted him, got out of his car and followed him.

In Trayvon Martin's final phone call with his own girlfriend, according to Martin family attorney Benjamin Crump, he could be heard saying ,?Why are you following me?? with Zimmerman replying, ?What are you doing around here??

Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin, the parents of Trayvon Martin, the unarmed Florida teen shot dead by a neighborhood watch volunteer, tell TODAY's Matt Lauer they want justice for their son and want the shooter, George Zimmerman, arrested.

Their confrontation ended with Martin getting shot in the chest.

?This guy looks like he?s up to no good ? he looks black,? Zimmerman told a police dispatcher?from his car. His father has said that Zimmerman is Hispanic, grew up in a multiracial family, and is not racist.

Twin Lakes? population is ethnically mixed. A few residents said there is tension within the gated community, but Taaffe insisted Tuesday that Zimmerman was acting out of concern for the safety of the area.

More from NBCMiami.com: A neighbor comes to Zimmerman's defense

"George is a congenial, amiable, admirable person,? he said. "He had a passion and a care for this neighborhood to ensure the safety of everybody here. And, furthermore, George is no Rambo."

Taaffe said that Zimmerman was appointed as a watch captain, despite reports that he appointed himself to the post.

theGrio: Protesters demand repeal of Zimmerman's gun permit

He said he believes his neighbor acted in self-defense, which is what Zimmerman told police. He conceded, however, that the boiling tensions may have been affecting Zimmerman.

?I think any time you use a weapon, there are certain anger issues working,? Taaffe said. ?I think he had fed-up issues. He was mad as hell and wasn't going to take it anymore.?

Zimmerman has not been charged, despite growing calls for his arrest.

Lawyer: Trayvon Martin fearful in final call

"It?s really sad that he's already been convicted in the public media and has already been sentenced to the gas chamber,? Taaffe said. ?Let's let justice do its job."

Robert Zimmerman, George's father, told The Orlando Sentinel last week in an emotional interview that his family has received death threats. On claims that his son stalked and killed an innocent black teenager, Robert Zimmerman told The Sentinel, "They're lies."

"George is going to suffer for years and years," he said.

Taaffe told NBCMiami.com that?nothing changes the fact that Martin?s death is ?devastating.?

?It's a tragic event ? we can?t bring that boy back,? he said. ?I wish we could.?

If the Primary Was a TV Show, Mitt Romney Would Star

Think of the Illinois Republican presidential primary as a re-run of an old television episode. If you?re a Mitt Romney supporter, it?s a story you know but are eager to watch again.?If you back Rick Santorum, you might want to switch off the TV.?

Tuesday?s contest is following a familiar path this primary season: The business-focused Romney is poised to win a state whose electorate is more upscale and secular, full of suburban Republicans drawn to his jobs-heavy message. And, once again, Romney and his affiliated super PAC have outgunned their Santorum counterparts to gain an edge in the state, according to recent polls.

Those factors add up to a near-universal expectation that Romney, despite his recent beatings in Alabama and Mississippi, is set to win another key victory.?

?Romney will do better ? much better ? in the Chicago suburbs than Santorum, and Santorum will do better than Romney downstate,? said Kent Redfield, a professor emeritus of politics at the University of Illinois-Springfield.

That regional success can help Santorum win a portion of the state?s 54 delegates up for grabs on Tuesday, who are allocated based on support in congressional districts. Because Santorum hinges his strategy on denying Romney the 1,144 delegates necessary for the nomination, those small successes could be critical.

Just don't count on his rewriting the GOP primary's script.

?Alex Roarty

?

NATIONAL JOURNAL?S PRIMARY REPORT

Illinois Looking Like Fertile Ground For Romney NEW!
[National Journal, 3/19/12] National Journal?s Alex Roarty writes that the business-focused Romney is poised to win in the Land of Lincoln this Tuesday because its electorate is more upscale and secular, full of suburban Republicans drawn to his jobs-heavy message

Santorum Accuses Romney of Pandering to Win Puerto Rico NEW!
[National Journal, 3/19/12] Santorum may have lost in Puerto Rico by a significant margin, but he came back with what can only be described as a scathing concession statement. His campaign says Romney ?put political expedience and political deception ahead of previously held policy positions? and accuses the former Massachusetts governor of switching positions on English and Puerto Rican statehood.

Santorum: Romney ?Doesn?t Have A Core? NEW!
[National Journal, 3/19/12] Santorum took to the airwaves on Monday to launch a full-scale attack on Romney, accusing the former Masaschusetts? governor of flip-flopping on issues and saying that even after spending ?tens of millions of dollars running negative ads? Romney has failed to energize the Republican base.

Could 2012 Be a Foreign Policy Election? NEW!
[Washington Post, 3/19/12] So far, the race to the White House has been dominated by economic and social issues, but with the deteriorating situation in Afghanistan dominating the news lately and the concern over Iran growing, could this be a race dominated by foreign policy?

5 Things to Watch For in Illinois
[Daily Beast, 3/19/12] Illinois? Tuesday primary is the next key marker in the grinding race for the GOP contest that has become political trench warfare between Romney and Santorum. Ben Jacobs offers five things to watch as the returns come in tomorrow. ?

Santorum Takes On Urban America
[New York Times, 3/19/12] Campaigning in recent days in Illinois and Missouri, Santorum has sought to motivate his followers by highlighting a divide between urban and rural America. And because many of the nation?s small towns are suffering economically, Santorum?s approach means he is taking on his own party.

Illinois Race Muddled By State?s Move Right
[Wall Street Journal, 3/18/12] Romney finds himself locked in a dogfight in Illinois with Santorum ahead of Tuesday?s primary, thanks in part to the rising influence of more-conservative Republicans in a state that once proved a reliable home for GOP centrists.

No Sparks For Romney in Illinois NEW!
[Politico, 3/19/12] Even as a state that seems a good fit to Romney?s brand of Republicanism, on primary eve Illinois remains in play, with Santorum seemingly within striking distance of a win. Romney?s inability to lock down the GOP vote in the state is exemplified by former GOP Gov. Jim Edgar?s ambivalence toward him.

Santorum Charges Ahead With Anti-Porn Crusade
[Talking Points Memo, 3/18/12] Santorum has garnered quite a bit of attention recently for his animated remarks against pornography, and on two separate Sunday shows the candidate refused to cede an inch. He accused the Obama administration of being soft on pornography on CNN?s State of the Union, and also clashed with a Chicago-based radio host Sunday on the issue.

Romneys Court Women Put Off By Contraception Debate
[New York Times, 3/19/12] The Romney campaign is seeking to repair the political damage with women voters that advisers acknowledge has been inflicted by the GOP candidates? rightward shift on immigration and social issues. Romney?s wife, Ann, has taken on a greater role as the campaign looks ahead to these independent voters.

Romney Revises Plans, Counts on Suburbs for Votes
[Chicago Daily Herald, 3/18/12] With Santorum close on his heels in Illinois, Romney returned to the Chicago suburbs Sunday, revising an earlier strategy to more seriously court voters in a region that is considered to be his stronghold.

McCain Calls 2012 ?Nastiest? Campaign Yet
[National Journal, 3/18/12] Sen. John McCain, one of several prominent Romney-backers, said Sunday that the current Republican presidential campaign is the most brutal race he has seen, fueled in part by super PACs that have rivaled campaigns in spending on this election. ?This is the nastiest I have ever seen," McCain said on NBC's Meet the Press.

Ron Paul?s Campaign Aims to Collect Stray Delegates
[USA Today, 3/18/12] Paul?s presidential campaign strategy of targeting caucus states appears to have fallen flat. But with just one caucus state remaining, rather than withdraw, the campaign is trying to pick up stray delegates in states that have already held caucuses.

Santorum: Backing Specter ?Wasn?t One of My Prouder Moments? ?
[National Journal, 3/19/12] Santorum's support of Pennsylvania Sen. Arlen Specter's 1996 presidential run has been used by his opponents to attack him as moderate. Now, Santorum is trying to cut his losses. Santorum said his support for Specter, who ran on a pro-choice platform in 1996, "wasn't one of my prouder moments."

Is Romney the Most Unpopular Likely Presidential Nominee Ever? NEW!
[Daily Beast, 3/19/12] Since 1976, no serious contender, Democrat or Republican, has watched his favorable ratings fall as low as Romney?s have in recent months. At this rate, could Romney shape up to be the most unpopular presidential nominee on record?

The Stay-Home Generation ? The Gospel Coalition Blog

That neighbor you struggle to love as yourself? Better find a way to follow Jesus' command, because the man on the other side of the fence is less likely than ever to move away. Same goes for everyone else you might want to escape, because the U.S. mobility rate fell to an all-time low last year when only 11.6 percent of Americans changed residences.

The U.S. Census Bureau has been tracking these statistics since 1948, when World War II veterans were bringing Baby Boomers home to new suburban abodes. It was a time of high mobility rates launched initially by the war mobilization and later accelerated by a new interstate highway system and the growth of commercial air travel. But these rates have slowed significantly in recent years, especially among the children of Baby Boomers.

"[S]ometime in the past 30 years, someone has hit the brakes and Americans---particularly young Americans---have become risk-averse and sedentary," Todd and Victoria Buchholz wrote in a recent editorial for The New York Times. "The timing is terrible. With an 8.3 percent unemployment rate and a foreclosure rate that would grab the attention of the Joads [of The Grapes of Wrath], young Americans are less inclined to pack up and move to sunnier economic climes."

Especially if you live and minister among young adults, you've probably witnessed this trend through prayer requests for desperate friends and family unable to find jobs and sell their devalued homes. Indeed, the Great Recession is a chief culprit in these changes. Todd Buchholz---author of Rush: Why You Need and Love the Rat Race observes with Victoria---a student at Cambridge University---that the share of young adults living at home almost doubled between 1980 and 2008. Indeed, Pew Research Center analysis of Census Bureau data released last week showed 21.6 percent of adults age 25 to 34 now live in multi-generational households, the highest such percentage since the 1950s and a nearly 6 percent increase since 2000. These figures provoke the Buchholz pair, or at least their Times editor, to judge today's young adults as The Go-Nowhere Generation. They write:

All this turns American history on its head. We are a nation of movers and shakers. Pilgrims leapt onto leaky boats to get here. The Lost Generation chased Hemingway and Gertrude Stein to Paris. The Greatest Generation signed up to ship out to fight Nazis in Germany or the Japanese imperial forces in the Pacific. The '60s kids joined the Peace Corps. But Generation Y has become Generation Why Bother.

Their solution? Move to North Dakota where the jobs are plentiful. They note but scoff at the remark of Harvard pollster John Della Volpe, who observes that today's young adults aren't eager to move because they enjoy living in their hometowns. The Buchholz plan for Generation Y closely resembles the good life as envisioned by Grapes of Wrath novelist John Steinbeck. This is a moral vision that celebrates individualism unleashed from the ways of the past. Read it yourself in Steinbeck's 1960 memoir Travels with Charley in Search of America, where he celebrates a modern invention he believed would revolutionize American community for the better: the mobile home. Upset with your family? Need a new job? Don't like the neighbors? Hook up the home and haul yourself toward new horizons.

"Central to modern individualism is the ability to separate oneself from home and family, to wander in pursuit of happiness, to leave communities (if only to rejoin others), to be fluid and unfettered," observes scholar Susan J. Matt, author of the recently released book Homesickness: An American History.

Cuts Both Ways

Older Americans have largely adopted this prescription for good living. Baby Boomers popularized the suburban megachurch with ample parking for ecclesial commuters. They bought the big exurban homes and make the long drives to work. They relocated after earning promotions. And many have encouraged their children to seek education at colleges far away from home, decreasing the likelihood the graduates will come home, if such a place even exists. Yet the same capitalistic forces that once demanded geographic mobility now hinder it. Despite these parents' best intentions, the economic advantages they enjoyed have not been transferred to their children.

"Wages for the young are falling, student debt is rising, and twentysomethings are twice as likely to be unemployed as the rest of the country," writes Derek Thompson, senior editor at The Atlantic. "This kind of economic uncertainty works as an anchor on national migration."

But economic uncertainly doesn't just affect national migration. These factors transform the shape of Christian discipleship. Prosperity led previous generations of American Christians to believe the good life could be attained through hard work, sacrifice, a well-timed relocation, and perhaps a little luck. Captivated by the same sense of opportunity captured in Steinbeck's work, many left home to start anew, unhindered by the expectations and responsibilities of family and community. This spirit cuts both ways for evangelical churches. Leave your small Bible Belt town for college and work in the big city, and you'll be less likely to follow in your parents' faith. Leave your parents' urban neighborhood for the suburbs and you may find evangelical megachurch spirituality more appealing than the Roman Catholic solidarity of your youth. Studies such as Robert Putnam's American Grace document the unprecedented shifting between religious communities. Putnam reports that as many as 45 percent of white Americans have switched away from their parents' religion at some point. Geographic mobility makes ecclesial mobility more plausible.

The Secret to Contentment

We don't yet know where the stay-home generation will make their church homes. When the economy improves they may hit the road. But I wonder if something has changed for good during the Great Recession. Diminished economic opportunities might have taught a generation of young adults that they cannot depend on money to make them happy. Even in a better economy your job probably won't last long; the company may not be able to afford you, or you may soon be looking for something else to improve your meager earnings.

It would be easy to follow the lead of Todd and Victoria Buchholz and blame Facebook and laziness for younger Americans' unwillingness to drop everything and move to North Dakota. But I would hope other factors, chiefly love of neighbor and family, are at work. The grass is not always greener in the Peace Garden State. Your sins will follow you even to the Canadian border. It's challenging but rewarding to stay home and learn to love the family, church, and neighbors who have known you since youth.

Americans may take the restless pursuit of prosperity for granted, but that doesn't make it any more acceptable in God's eyes. To be clear, it's not wrong to move for a new job and new start. Certainly it's a noble calling to take the gospel to the ends of the earth. But the national narrative that celebrates the free-ranging individual fosters sinful discontent. Whether you want to stay home or need to move away, the apostle Paul reveals a better way to guide us in these uncertain times:

Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content.?I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need (Philippians 4:11-12).

That secret?

[M]y God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.?To our God and Father be glory forever and ever (Philippians 4:19-20).

Know About Windows 7 Certification | The Lates Technology ...

What you need to know about windows 7 certification. Is it available? Will it help you get a MCITP? What do you

need to do to prepare? How can WindowsNetworking.com help you?

While Windows 7 has been available to IT Pros with Technet for a while, it was just released to the general public on October 22, 2009. One of the ways that

I typically begin learning about a new Windows OS is to start by looking at its certification. What I mean is, if you are going to spend time learning about

an OS, why not learn the things that Microsoft says are important enough to put in their certification requirements? Plus, if you are going to invest the

time to learn about Windows 7, why not take a test when you are done learning and get a certification out of it? It just seems like the most logical way to

learn about the new OS.

With that, what is the status of the Windows 7 certification program? What do you need to do to get Windows 7 certified and how can WindowsNetworking.com

help you?

Just as Windows 7 is now available, the entry-level Windows 7 certification, the MCTS, is also available. Microsofts Certified Technology Specialist (or

MCTS) is the entry level certification for just about every Microsoft technology. There are MCTS programs not only for IT Admins who are interested in

Windows Server or Windows 7 but also for those who are Office 2007 experts, SQL Admins, .NET developers, and even volume licensing specialists. In fact,

there are over 50 MCTS certification options.

As you are reading this, you are interested in Windows 7 certification so the most important MCTS, to you, is the Microsoft Technology Specialist (TS) Exam

70-680: Windows 7, Configuring. You guessed it, this mcts certification requires a single exam and it is all

about configuring Windows 7.

This exam covers topics such as:

Installing, Upgrading, and Migrating to Windows 7

Optoma ML300

The Optoma ML300 ($500 street) is one of a growing breed of small, highly portable projectors of high resolution and modest brightness that combine an LED light source with TI?s DLP projection technology. It shares the wide range of connectivity options that many of these projectors offer, and it shares one notable image quality issue with them as well.

Features

The ML300 is rated at 300 lumens, and has a native WXGA (1,280 by 800 pixel) resolution. It is supremely compact, measuring 1.8 by 7.2 by 4.4 inches?a little larger than what we?d consider a palmtop projector, although it can just fit in my (large) hand with my thumb and fingers fully splayed. Using our postage scale, I weighted the projector at 1.4 pounds, while the power adapter adds another pound. It?s smaller and lighter than the 500-lumen Optoma ML500 mini-projector that we recently reviewed. The ML300 comes with a soft carrying case for easy transport.

On top of the projector is a 7-button control panel, backlit with blue LEDs (though you have to press any button to activate the LEDs and then quickly make a selection, as they go dark again after 6 seconds).

The small remote has the same 7 buttons, plus Power, Zoom, Hide [display], and brightness control, as well as dedicated buttons for accessing sources such as WiFi display, USB Display, VGA, HGMI, and Video. Working the menus, especially at first, can be awkward.? The menu system is more typical of a pico projector than a palmtop, in that you have to exit the presentation or movie you?re showing to make any changes to your settings, and then re-access your data or video connection (which can be time consuming, as you?ll soon see). When you press the Home button, it asks you if you really want to go to Home, which although it may spare you an accidental trip there, it adds another step to what can be a cumbersome process.

Also, the remote makes use of the arrow keys not to navigate the menus, but as symbol keys to access specific functions. For instance, the Home screen shows six choices, each identified by a symbol: the right arrow denotes Setup, the up arrow, Music, etc.?they?re useless as arrow keys here in that you can?t scroll anywhere, but they will take you to the functions they symbolize. This takes some getting used to.

The ML300 has a respectable set of connectivity options for a small projector: VGA; mini-HDMI; micro-USB (for connecting to a computer); USB type A (for a USB thumb drive); component video and audio-in; audio-out, and a micro-SD card slot. You can run presentations computer free from the projector?s 2GB of internal memory, memory card, or USB key. In addition to showing video, you can play music or display business documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or PDF from internal memory, memory card, or thumb drive.

Connecting to a computer with this projector via USB cable is best described as ?plug and pray?. Once you plug the cable in, you select ?USB Display? with the remote. If you?re lucky, your projector?s image will soon emulate what?s on your computer screen, but that?s not a sure thing. It only worked on the first shot on one of the 3 laptops I tested it on, though I got it up and running on all eventually. Still, I often experienced a long waiting time waiting for the connection to kick in when I switched to ?USB display?. Fortunately, there are many other ways to connect.

I tested the ML300 from about 6 feet from our test screen, where it threw a test image about 60 inches diagonally. Image quality suffered somewhat even in modest ambient light, so it?s best used in a relatively small, dark room.

Image Quality

In testing using the DisplayMate suite, I found the ML300?s data image quality suitable for use in typical business presentations?provided that the room is dark and relatively small?though you might not want to use it in presentations where sharp text is important. The good news is that colors were bright and reasonably true, especially yellows, which often look dull or mustardy with DLP projectors. It also showed less of a rainbow effect? distracting red-green-blue rainbow glints, particularly in bright areas against a dark background?than most DLP projectors.

One notable issue is that several test images showed the same sort of scaling artifacts that we saw in the Optoma ML500 and have seen several other recent small WXGA DLP projectors?including the BenQ Joybee GP2. They take the form of banding (spurious dark lines showing up in backgrounds that consist of repeating patterns or hatching).

Such scaling artifacts are caused by a mismatch between the image?s dimensions and a projector?s native resolution, which shouldn?t be the case as both the source and the projector?s native resolution are 1,280 by 800 pixels. The problem seems to rest in TI?s latest DLP Pico WXGA chips. Optoma says that the mirrors on the DLP chip are arranged in a way to produce higher brightness from a more compact design. However, the mirror arrangement also makes it impossible to have a true native resolution in the traditional sense, so the projector does indeed scale the image.

Although the scaling artifacts were more apparent it our test images with the ML300 than they were in my testing of the BenQ GP2, they shouldn?t affect most data images?at least, ones without repeating patterned backgrounds. But they may be responsible for the soft focus that was most apparent in our text testing, where the smallest font was notably blurred and the second smallest was fuzzy in both white-on-black and black-on-white text. We seldom see that much blur, especially in the black text. If you get this projector and design your own presentations for it, be sure to use relatively large fonts.

Video Quality

I tested video quality using multiple video sources over several connections, primarily HDMI. The ML300 is okay for short clips, provided that color fidelity isn?t critical. For the most part, colors were bright and well saturated, but some tinting was apparent at times. Flesh tones tended to look reddish, and some bright areas took on a greenish tinge. Also, there was some loss of detail in bright areas. One plus is that, as was the case in data images, rainbow artifacts were nearly nonexistent and shouldn?t be an issue except maybe for people particularly sensitive to the effect.

Other Issues

The audio from the ML300?s built-in 2-watt speaker was feeble; I could barely hear it when more than a few feet away from the projector, even at full volume. Fortunately the unit has an audio-out jack for headphones or powered external speakers.

The LED light source will last an estimated 20,000 hours, so you should never have to replace bulbs. The projector is backed by a 1-year limited warranty.

There?s a lot to like about the Optoma ML300: It?s supremely compact and portable for a WXGA projector, has a great choice of connectivity options including HDMI, a long-lasting light source, and minimal rainbow effect. It has significant downsides: an awkward menu system, scaling artifacts that may impact text quality, and unreliable USB connectivity among them. Thus, my recommendation is lukewarm.

The Optoma ML500 is slightly larger and brighter than the ML300; the BenQ Joybee GP2 offers iPhone connectivity but is as much a consumer as a business projector. Both showed the same issue with scaling artifacts that cropped up on the ML300?s data image. The 300-lumen ViewSonic PJD2121 ($450 street, 4 stars) provides better image quality, though the Optoma has a wider range of connection choices.

Jennifer Lawrence Preparing Her 'Bradley Cooper Box Set'

'I'm an actor digging through Angelina Jolie's garbage,' 'Hunger Games' star jokes to MTV News about replacing the actress in Cooper's next flick.
By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Josh Horowitz

"The Hunger Games" star Jennifer Lawrence has admitted she's not sure when she'll be on set for the next film in the franchise, "Catching Fire," but that doesn't mean she doesn't have plenty of projects to keep her busy until then.

"I just wrapped a movie called 'The Silver Linings Playbook,' and that'll be out at some point, I don't know when," Lawrence told MTV News recently. "And then I'm going to go shoot another Bradley Cooper movie. It's not a Bradley Cooper movie — Bradley Cooper's in the movie — it's a Jennifer Lawrence movie with Bradley in it," she joked. "Bradley Cooper and I are going to come out with a Jennifer Lawrence/ Bradley Cooper box set."

That box set, should it ever get made, would focus on two very different films starring Lawrence and Cooper: "Silver Linings," due in November, revolves around a man who tries to put his life back together after spending years in a mental institution, while "Serena" is about a Depression-era couple who face personal complications when they learn the wife cannot bear children, possibly destroying the future of their lumber company.

Lawrence will play Cooper's wife in "Serena," a part originally intended for Angelina Jolie.

"I'm not at the status where I have her roles. I have her leftovers, let's be clear," she joked of Jolie. "She left it for me. I have her garbage. No, that's a wonderful place to be. I'm an actor digging through Angelina Jolie's garbage. I've made it." Shooting on "Serena" has yet to start.

Although Lawrence has several films on her production docket, she wouldn't rule out getting back into the "X-Men" mindset as Mystique if given the chance. "I would love to do another one. I'm hearing the same as everyone else, there's mumblings," she said of her "First Class" role. "I can't wait to get painted again."

If fans can't wait that long to see Lawrence's on the big screen, they can head to theaters on March 23 when the highly anticipated "Hunger Games" hits theaters.

Check out everything we've got on "The Hunger Games."

Fish Oil For Dogs | Black and White Dogs

Did you realize that you can boost your dogs health by supplementing its diet program with different fatty acids? Fatty acids will prove many benefits beyond just typical dog foods. Fish oil for dogs and flaxseed oil for dogs are two sources of these acids that you can add for your dogs diet.

What exactly is the problem? Not Enough Fatty Acids!

Dogs and cats and also humans are unable to create fatty acids themselves so they must be gotten from other sources ? from food. Dogs that are fed strictly processed foods may be lacking in omega-3 fatty acids because the processed foods are generally not very rich with these. The same actually goes for almost all of the ?home cooked? meals that domestic pets are provided with.

On one hand fish oil can help your dog with some existing health problems and alternatively deficiency of fatty acids can actually lead to health problems.

Advantages of Fish Oil For Canines

Omegas are anti-inflammatory. That means that they assist your dog with arthritic complications by reducing inflammation of tissues and permitting extra movement for activity. In fact omega 3 fatty acids are beneficial to either dog or cat or any other domestic pets. Obtaining the proper form of omega fatty acids in the form of flaxseed oil or fish oil for dogs are crucial to this.

Linoleic acid from these oils can perform wonders for skin health of the dog. It may even help decreasing some forms of cancers (minimize cancer cell formation) when utilised with other medications.

Fish oil also stimulates healthy kidneys, heart, and decreases the cholesterol levels in your dog, and can increase the immune system which can make hair and skin healthier. Hair and skin problems of dogs are a few of the first indicators of a health issue so pay close attention to these.

Side Effects?

Incorrect doses of omega 6 fatty acids can basically result in inflammation and that?s something no pet needs. It could also result in fragile immune system.

Fish Oil Dosage For Dogs

Right dose is important when it comes to pets so give attention to it. This is primarily crucial with flaxseed oil. Too much can trigger drippy feces in dogs and cats. However if your dog is constipated it could obviously assist if used in in lesser doses. Talk to your veterinary concerning the suitable dose as they can be rather different because of the distinct weights and sizes of different dog breeds but a superb rule of thumb would be to give 1000mg per 30lbs of the dog?s weight. The problem with flaxseed oil is also that dogs lack an enzyme to convert it from inactive to active for optimum usage. So it is suggested that you rather use fish oil for pet dogs.

Salmon Oil For Pet dogs

One kind of fish oil that?s pretty good for dogs is wild salmon oil. Salmon oil has the highest quantity of omegas than any other cold water fish so this really is the premier selection. Screening is done to make certain the mercury level is under allowable levels and most supplements are well below them. Most dogs really like the taste, too. It could give the dog various degrees of fishy odor, but reduction in sums given can help with that.

These had been the primary benefits of fish oil for dogs. Hopefully you enjoy many happy times along with your pet.

Taxes: Cost Of Being A Professional Athlete | Bankrate.com

Going pro has its price
Taxes: Cost of being a professional athlete

Ready for some jaw-dropping moves by your favorite professional athletes?

Just check out their tax returns.

Behind every sports star who's hauling down the big bucks is a keen-eyed certified public accountant quick-stepping through a maze of state and local income taxes imposed on nonresident athletes, commonly known as the "jock tax."

Professional sports players get taxed by pretty much every city and state in which they play, says Ryan Losi, CPA and executive vice president of Piascik & Associates, a Glen Allen, Va., accounting firm that represents more than 70 professional athletes.

"NFL players typically file in 10 to 12 jurisdictions. NBA is somewhere between 16 and 20. MLB is somewhere between 20 and 26, and the NHL is between 14 and 16," says Losi.

Of the nine states that don't have state income tax, only Florida, Tennessee, Texas and Washington have pro teams, says Robert Raiola, CPA and sports and entertainment group manager for Fazio, Mannuzza, Roche, Tankel, LaPilusa LLC, a Cranford, N.J., firm that represents more than 100 pro athletes.

If you're dazzled by sports players' salaries, here's how the pros play offense and defense to preserve theirs.

How pro salaries are taxed
How pro salaries are taxed

Professional athlete salaries, like real estate, are all about location, location, location.

The lion's share of most players' income, their salary, is taxed in the city and state where the team is based. But income from other sources, including endorsements, personal appearances, dividends and interest income, is taxed in their state of residence.

This is the reason New York Giants quarterback and Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning lives in Hoboken, N.J., instead of in the Big Apple. It's simple arithmetic, says Raiola.

"If he were a resident of New York, he'd pay 8.97 percent New York state tax and another 3.78 percent New York City tax on top of that, not only on his wage income but also his endorsements and investment interest," he says. "In New Jersey, he only pays 8.97 percent."

"Jock tax" assessments to players by away-game jurisdictions are credited back to the player in their state of residence but only to the maximum rate in their home state. Players who live in the nine states without state income tax (Alaska, Florida, Nevada, New Hampshire, Tennessee, Texas, South Dakota, Washington and Wyoming) pay full fare on "jock tax" assessments, Raiola says.

The 'jock tax'
The 'jock tax'

Taxing states and some municipalities impose a "jock tax" on visiting professional sports players in one of two ways. Most use the "duty days" method, which divides the player's total number of work days during the season by the number of days spent playing in the state. A few use the "games played" method, which divides the total number of games in the season by the number played in the state.

And just to give accountants gray hairs, no two states do it exactly alike.

"They all agree on the fraction; they just don't agree on what goes into the numerator and the denominator," says Losi. "Some jurisdictions treat practices and OTAs (organized team activities) as a working day. Others say that if you travel but don't play, that doesn't count."

All those state filings can make for one doorstop of a tax return.

"Thank God for e-filing," says Raiola. "In the old days, a player who lived in California not only had to file in all of those different states but was required to provide a copy of each state return with his federal return. The average NBA player could pay tax in 20 states."

The invisible hand of taxation
The invisible hand of taxation

Taxes -- or the lack of them -- may also have had something to do with NBA all-star and 2010 free agent LeBron James' choice to play for the Miami Heat instead of the New York Knicks. Losi points to Florida's lack of a state income tax.

"That may have been one of the factors that led LeBron to choose Florida versus New York," says Losi. "Ten percent of his first contract was going to be the difference. For him, it was an extra 5 (percent to) 9 percent difference in tax. That's real money."

But Raiola says what works for a megastar such as LeBron may not be the best move for journeymen players.

"If you live in Florida, the taxes you pay to those other states is really taking money out of your pocket because you're not going to get a credit for those state taxes," he says. "If you live in a nontax state, you could easily end up paying state tax on 60 (percent) to 65 percent of your earned income from the team, even though you don't have a tax in the state you reside in."

Big money, bigger taxes overseas
Big money, bigger taxes overseas

Professional golfers, tennis players and other athletes who compete on the world stage often leave a third or more of their earnings in the local coffers.

"Whenever they play in foreign countries, they have to pay taxes in that jurisdiction, and the tax liability is much bigger than the 5 (percent) to 10 percent state tax. It's usually in the 30 (percent) to 40 percent bracket," says Losi. "Usually it's withheld in their prize money, and they can file a nonresident return if they think they might have a refund coming."

Because the United States is one of the few countries that taxes all personal income regardless of source, some pro sports stars who compete internationally actually have a financial disincentive to make their home in America.

"If they're (not U.S. citizens or green card holders) and they're not planning to stay here more than 183 days out of the year, from a tax perspective it absolutely makes sense to not live in the U.S.," says Losi. "All the foreign golfers who come here to play, if they want all of their foreign prize money and endorsement money to be taxed, all they have to do is hang out here for 183 days."

The Canadian tax treaty
The Canadian tax treaty

The tax treaty between the United States and Canada preventing double taxation for those who cross the border for work can complicate tax planning for Canadian-based NBA, NHL and MLB players. (There are no NFL teams north of the border.)

This is because Canada's top tax rate of 48 percent is 13 percent higher than the U.S. maximum (35 percent), and Canada taxes individuals based on their residency while the U.S. taxes people based on citizenship.

"As a result, it's advantageous for Canadian players to move to the U.S.," says Losi. "That's what a lot of the NHL guys do. As long as you don't have Canadian-source income, you don't pay Canadian tax, you save 13 percent on every dollar, plus there are a lot more deductions and credits in the U.S."

While the reverse is often true for U.S. players signed to Canadian teams, Raiola sees a solution to help even out the tax discrepancy.

"Get a signing bonus from a Canadian team, which under the treaty is only taxed at 15 percent," he says. "Canada withholds 15 percent, you get a full credit, pay the 20 percent down here, and you're not penalized for playing for a Canadian-based team."

Did you know?
Did you know?
  • Sports players can deduct most expenses associated with preseason training not reimbursed by the team including hotel, apartment or home rental, meals, transportation to the training location, and car rentals.
  • Players must claim the value of gift bags and other "swag" they receive at awards ceremonies and celebrity events as income.
  • Most NFL, NHL and MLB players are paid only during the season. While NBA players can choose to be paid seasonally or year-round, Raiola says 3 out of 4 opt to be paid year-round.
  • Players can deduct the cost of fines imposed by their team or league. League fines typically go to charity.
  • An agent's fee is fully deductible.
  • Lockouts can cost a player plenty. The current NBA season, which was shortened by lockout from 82 to 66 games, resulted in a 20 percent hit on all player salaries. "For Kobe Bryant, that's $5 (million) or $6 million that he's never going to make back," says Raiola.
  • All four leagues and the Professional Golfers' Association of America, or PGA, offer pension plans. In addition, the NFL offers a 401(k) with a 200 percent match, and the NBA offers a 401(k) with a 140 percent match.

Learn Something About Estate Planning Today ? Cute Girl Hair ...

Ready for estate planning? Everyone can benefit from estate planning, because estate planning is not just for the rich. While most of us don?t feel like we have an estate that needs planning, we all have assets and property that we want passed to our family. Without estate planning of some sort, the items that we?ve accumulated over the years may not go to our family. The main benefit of estate planning is to ensure that our family gets the most of the properties that we own when we are gone.

Estate planning can be a big complicated activity, but it can also be relatively simple. It?s good to start by searching for some information online before getting lawyers or a law firm involved. While a law firm may provide an initial consultation for free, they will certainly charge for the real planning, and you will want that part of the business to go quickly. Having a firm grip on how the planning process should proceed and what assets you need to include in your estate planning will make it go as fast and smoothly as possible.

One of the first steps in estate planning, therefore is to compile a list of all your ?property?. This includes real estate such as your home and any second home, but also any financial assets that you own. Take care to list all bank accounts, brokerage accounts, retirement funds, etc. When we die, a process called probate kicks in, and all assets and investment properties in a person?s name will be determined. So, to make sure that your family gets the most out of the estate planning process, take care to include everything that you want to pass on to your family. This includes business assets as well, if you own a business. A law firm will certainly help you find all the items that can be included in your estate planning, but knowing them up front will help the planning move forward.

A main focus of estate planning is the will, which designates who will receive each of the properties. This is the blueprint for the probate process, so you want a law firm to draw it up in order to make sure that the law is followed precisely. But this is not the only part of estate planning that needs to be done, as the financial properties that a person owns can be arranged in ways as to minimize the estate tax that is levied during the probate process. The law on federal estate taxes has been modified in recent years, and may be modified again. There are financial instruments called trusts which will minimize the estate taxes that need to be paid when the time comes, but these need planning. Thus, one of the most important aspects of estate planning is actually making a plan for how to put your financial properties into a form like a trust that will maximize the amount that is passed on to your family.

This has been a brief overview of estate planning. There is clearly a lot more to it, which is one reason you will need to get a law firm involved at some point. But start with a little research, and the plan should go smoothly.

Home And Business Security Measure Updates | Submission of ...

Modern Home and Business Security Options

What are these options? It consists of practically every security equipment such as a spy video camera and infrared security devices that will make any modern home and office almost impregnable. In order to achieve the fullest potential of these equipment, an overall security plan must be clearly laid down.

Take the case of you suspecting the neighbors are trespassing into your property each time you?re out of your home. Add to that your suspicion that they could actually be peeking into your windows and behaving with malicious intent. The installation of surveillance camera and alarms within your property will prove beneficial for this type of situation.

Bear in mind that your aim is not only to identify burglars on the property but to protect your home or office at the same time. This means that everybody who enters your premises will be detected by the security cameras and the alarm will warn him against entering further because you have security devices set in place.

Statements taken from many jailed criminals do indicate that warning devices about security systems have averted many burglaries and other crimes from being committed inside a home or office building. However, this is not to be interpreted that some kind of pseudo camera or siren will be effective in preventing burglaries. In other words, your automated security system needs to be interconnected with outside help or support who will watch over your place and inform police authorities as soon as your home siren is triggered.

Lastly, with today?s technology; it is relatively easy to find the devices and services needed to come up with an effective security plan for the home and business. There are even companies that can provide a video surveillance system that can be monitored anywhere. Some better providers, for instance, offer video software that allows the owner easy access to the system through a computer or the internet if he wants to look into the events that are taking place in his home or office.

A good dealer will update you with the latest available solutions to home and business surveillance. Not only do such providers offer the monitored type of home security, but they have other modern devices that businesses could use, among which is the fingerprint scanning.

There is an adage which says, ?An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure.? Having a monitored video and alarm system at home or in the office will truly keep yourself, your family and colleagues out of possible harm.

Have you noticed the increasing figure in crime statistics recently? Thieves and robbers have broken into millions of American homes and offices at an alarming frequency. Because of this, many people are looking into the possibilities of having their homes and offices installed with a surveillance system.

Effective Method For Information Marketing Product Creation ...

?

An important part of information marketing is product creation yet it can be seen as a huge challenge for many, to the point that is appears just too complicated to undertake and the seemingly easier route of using an affiliate product is chosen. Yes, affiliate products do fill a gap in your product offerings, but they cannot be the mainstay to build your business around.

There are simple methods to utilize content and references that are on your hard drive doing nothing and recreate it in a different format and offer it as a free gift or make it available for sale. As with most information marketers it is highly likely that your computer?s hard drive is home to content and references that you have not done anything with. The resources will most likely also contain some form of resell right where you have the right to use and even alter the content to create a new and unique product that you can even re title and put your name on it as author.

Find a few eBooks that are focused on the same subject and check through that the content would be of of a quality that can be offered for sale and be in demand if packaged together attractively. The relevant content should be extracted and recreated with some additional material into perhaps a twelve part course. The opportunities this offers include offering the entire product for sale of part of it as a free inducement to entice prospects onto an email list. They could then be sent regular emails which would discuss further what was in part one and how the information could be acted upon.

Offer part one of the course as a free inducement, a thank you for signing up to your email list. Then in the following emails that are sent to the prospects on your email list you can start building a relationship with them and talk about the challenges and problems faced by the niche and how the content of the course provides the very information that is required to overcome such. As they will have already received and read the first part, they will know the quality and extent of information on offer in the full course. All you need to do is show them that they really need the information available in the course if they want to progress their interest in the subject.

An important factor to consider is what type of back end product would be suitable and attractive for the customer who has purchased and worked through the course. Some will be happy with what they have received whilst others will want more information in order to continue to progress. I hope that your creative mind can appreciate the possibilities that are within the resources and eBooks that you already have and are awaiting to be transformed into new and unique products to satisfy a hungry market. You should consider how to add additional products from the same material such as creating an audio version or introduce video. Nvidia Responds to Apple?s Claim: Where is the Proof?

Apple flashed up a slide claiming that the iPad 2 was 2x as fast as Nvidia?s Tegra 3 and that the new iPad would be 4x faster. Benchmarks are clearly a number games and depending on which tests you pick and what resolution you run them at even the iPad 2?s GPU maybe significantly faster than Tegra 3?s. However, Apple neglected to show hard evidence to support its claim.

It was only a matter of time before Nvidia responded. Ken Brown, a spokesman for NVIDIA, told ZDNet that while it was ?certainly flattering? to be mentioned by Apple, the performance claims are unfounded without more data. ?We don?t have the benchmark information,? Brown said. ?We have to understand what the application was that was used. Was it one or a variety of applications? What drivers were used? There are so many issues to get into with benchmark.?

Apple has opened a flood gate with this statement, when Apple?s new iPad goes on sale on March 16th, NVIDIA plans to run tests in order to determine whether or not their claims hold water.

One thing to keep in mind when hearing all of this benchmark talk is that the new iPad uses a resolution of 2048?1536, so it wouldn?t be hard for Apple to choke Nvidia?s GPU just by forcing it to run at that resolution. The Transformer Prime?s 1280?800 resolution works out to 960,000 pixels ? the next-generation iPad displays 3,145,728 pixels. That?s more than 3x as many, based on that fact alone Apple may indeed be right, but it would have been nice to find out how they came to that conclusion.
